Another rumor is gaining some cre

of the overland trains will Ih changed.
The new time table, planned by rail
road gossips, will go luto etlccl about
the llrst of next month and will cause
the north bound overland train to
arrive In this city about 5 o'clock in
the morning und the south hound to
arrive at about U o'clock in the even
ing. This change will gratify the
wishes of the public in more ways

length of the Willamette valley in

morning, arrived In a secial car from
Portlaud this afternoon.
The car waa gully decorated with
bunting along the sides and across the

letters were the words "Portland
Woodmen of the World Eugene."
As soon as the car stopped the choppers
warmed out upon the platform where
greetings were exchanged and the
