taken to the asylum at Salem today.
He was of an excitable and violent
disposition mid had to be confined In

fortunate man was taken out, he bo-
came very much frightened at the
crowd. After p-aehlng the depot he
gave one or two persons whom he rec
ognised severe "roasllngs," threaten
ing dire vengeance upon thctn.

upon the rear platform of the last car.
