Grants Pass Courier: There Is every reason to believe that there will soon be a rail road from Eugene to the ocean. When Hillary Shaw, many years sgo, proposed tn the peo ple of Euitene to bnlhl a road to the mouth of the Siualaw they jeered at him and pronounced him crazy. They talked j'ist like some eople now talk about a road from Giauts Pass to the ocean. But at last Eugene sees that Hhaw was riuht, and are now clamorous for a way to the sea.
