mittee was authorized to give notice and re
ceivn bids for furnishing the city with lum
ber the ensuing year.
On motion of Mr Friendly tho Recorder
was instructed to nssoss the city und report

Tho following resolution was oll'ercd by
Mr McClung: Resolved, That tho mattei
of validity ot the ordinances of this city be
referred to tho Judiciary committee to report
such ordinances as need re-enactment, iu
order to make them valid under the new
charter. On motion tho resolution was
adopted.
