Injunction made ptrpetr.aL i A Foul Murder. : Farticola'rt of tht shocking murder of D J Corker, a hard ware ' merchant of Lafay ette, have been received. The victim was a bachelor, and when found was lying on tht bed with hit arms cut and broken, and hit face out diagonally across one tide from tht ty to tht further end of the chin. Just above the eye there watt fearful gash in the skull. Examination ditcloied the fact that entrance wst effooted by removing paue of glass from a rear window, and exit by the same means. The assassin or assas sins on entering placed a table against the partition surrounding Corker's sleeping apartment ami climbed over it. An axe covered with Mood, found near the window, shows plainly that this was tht instrument used, and the fact that Corker' trunk wat broken and ttveral hundred dollar abstract ed Vain a shot pouch thowi that rubbery wat tht object for committing the terrible crime. There was no evidence of a ttrng gle, but the wound on Corker' arm lead to the belief that he became partly onnsciout when assaulted aud threw up his arms with a view of protecting himself. 'The blows from the axe mutt have beer, delivered with fearful force, at the head of the bedstead o 'copied by the murdered man was broken down. Coroner D C Nsrver uf MuMiun ville was notified and took charge of the re mains. He summoned a coroner't jury and held a partial inquest, which was concluded Wednesday. C rker was 58 years of age and at out time was engaged in buaiuesi at Amity, and before that in Washington Ter ritory. Suspicion points to Chiuamco as the perpetrators of the murder. The de ceased was buried by the Masonic order Wednesday at Lafayette. Final Report of Grand Jury.
