Lew inton News: One of the Ore gon Short Lino surveyors arrived in town on Monday from Engineer Clark's company, and informed us' that they had located the Hub of the road on tho Idaho side of t'til river for a dis tance of eighty-one miles below I'uriit river, and that Engineer Moxirip was locating the roiiil up the river, and that the two parties were not more than eighteen miles apart. The more the engineers see the Snake river route the more they are impressed with its advantaged over all othor routes. There is not the olightei.t doubt but that the road will be built down Suuke river at an early date.
