There has been some little trout) le in this school during this term caused principally by truancy. Parents and teach' ers should endeavor to break up this practice as it werks very materially to the iujury of the entire school; in order to accomplish this object would recommend teacher to report to the parents of such pupils and frequent visi Utions to the school of such parents. Mr 11. T. L.istow is conducting scheol in No. 1 very succets'ully and has an atten dance of 45, mostly small scholars. This district needs a rew and mo.e commodious house, very badly, also two teachers, as one is so crowded thai it is impossible to do jus tice to all that mry wish te attend. J.
