It was entered, that the sura of one hund red and fifty dollar be appropriated out of the county funds to aid iu the construction of a bridge across Gate creek, where the county road crosses the same, with the ex press understanding that Lane ceunty shall in no event be liable for any further sum, ou account of building Mid bridge. 0. E. Brownsou was appointed as superintendent f said bridge. James Chapio, II. C. Veatch aud J. W Masterson, were appointed to assess the damage, sustained from the location of the county road prkyed for by Jno. Miller aud others, aud the 2'Jth of Nov. was appointed as the day on which to perform that duty. It was ordered that the Eugene Brass baud be granted a portion of the public sijuartt, for the purpose of niaintaiuiog a band stand. E. P.
