The attention of the public u called to
the ad. in our coin nins of the quicksilver
mining company just started, uuder the aus

las county, Oregon. We find upon enquiry
that the company, after prospecting a rich
mine, and getting their company incorpo

found that they could purchase the rich cin
nabar mine called the Nonpareil, near Oak
land, have done so and took that into their
company with all it rich lodes and works,
and a toon as they can gut a furnace in place
of the retort now on the works, they will be
able to turn out several hundred pounds of
the pure motul in every 24 hours. The pres
ent works comprise 330 feet of tunnel, half
a mile of flume and pipe, water taiik, retort
and building, blacksmith shop and tools, a
railroad from retort into the mine and all the
tools necessary to carry on the works on an
extensive scale, especially when they get one
or two furnaces of the improved kind, which
they are now trying to do by selling a few
share of stock at one dollar a share.
