Therefore be it, . Revived, That in the sudden and unex pected detth of our late Brother we are "made to realize more fully that in the midst 'Of lif .we are in death, and are again renioded of the necessity of a preparation for that change through which all men must pass, and while we bow with heavy hearts to the will of Him who do4h all things veil, we do not murmur or mourn as for those without hope, for our Brother had wisely chosen that good part which takes away the sting of death and robs the grave of its victory. Resolved, That in the death of Grand Representative Ellsworth our Iruternity has lost a faithful and earnest Brother, the com munity a gool and aseful citizen, and the church an exemplary and valuable member. Resolved, That we sympathize with his family in this their deep affliction, and would commend them to the mercy of Him who tempereta . the winds to the shorn lamb. Rewlttd, That in memory of our Brother .it is hereby ordered that the charter of oar Lodge be draped in mourning and that tbe members wear tho usual badge lor tbe space A thirty days.
