Mrs. Jas. A. Cautborn, fragrant

thronged with friends of bride and
groom, Mr. Will Ready, of Port
land and Miss Maude Cauthorn,
of this city, were made man and
wife, Wednesday morning, April
27, 189S.
It was a most charming home
wedding. The April svui smiled
benignly as the young couple
(the bride becomingly attired in a
lovely gown of white organdie
over silk) stood up and uttered
the vows that united them in
matrimony. Dr. Plummer uttered
the beautiful marriage service of
the Episcopal church. Then fol
lowed the congratulations of the
assembled friends. After a de
licious wedding breakfast Mr. and
Mrs. Ready drove to the S. P.
station where they took the
train for Portland, their future
home.
Both are well known in Cor
vallis, the bride having lived here
all her lile. Mr. Ready was here
four years as a student at the col
lege. Both are greatly respected
and admired and hosts ol friends
wish them all joy and happiness.
