The entertainment given at tha opera bouse Wednesday evening under the auspi ces of the ladies of the Presbyterian church, and outitled, "Tom Thumb's wedding," is pronounced a grand success by all who at tended. The music by the orchestra, college or chestra and quartette, as well as the duets ..ad solos were excellently rendered. The little people in the three acts of Tom Thumb's wedding, could not have been ex celled had they been trained on the stage fof months. The tableaux were extraordi nary,' and their statuesque representations were perfect. It is simply wasting space to mention John Fulton, Misses Ora Spangler, Anna Samuels, and Mrs. F. M. Johnson in their oloq and duets, so well are they known and appreciated by Corvallis audiences. - J. B. Walker's Shakespearian recitation was grand, an' rendered with splendid ele ontionary effect. The comic song with guitar accoinpani tnant, by Marion Johnson, Alex. Samuel?, Mibtl Johnson, Lnln Spangler and Mildred Jubnson, was well received. Misses Leon Louis and ITattie Friendly made fine display of theatrical and elocu tional talent in a dialogue from Shakeopeare. Rev. E.
