On next Saturday the match race
for a purse of one thousand dollars

miie will be run. This is expected
to be a closely contested race, and
pretty running and fast time may be
loosed for. There are two more ra­
ces between the Ross horses and the
Sturgill horses to come off within a
few days the particulars o f which we
have not been able to prooure at this
writing.
