A Bio House. The opera house last night was filled to bear AVolfenbargcr and Huckin'g, the prohibition speakers and singers. During the two evenings Mr Wolfenbarger showed bow high pro tection and the liquor traffic had created over 8,000 millionaires in the U 8 and 4,000,000 people without enough food ahead to last them twentv-four hours. He characteriEed the McKtnley bill as n infamous measure, and showed how, instead of increasing the wages of men it has lowered them 15 to 20 per cent. While the hardware business pays labor about 24 per cent and bo down to about 12 per cent for cotton goods, the liquor business only pays labor 1 23-100 per cent according to Mr Wolfenbarger's figures. While be claimed there waa no diUerence in the two old parties all his tariff and many of hia industrial state ments were directly in the line of demo cratic argument and decidedly against the republican party, and could not well be otherwise after investigation. Mr Wolfenbarger's business, though i to make prohibitionists, and this he is doing slowly. Highest of all in Leavening Power. .Latest U. S. Gov't Report Annttt araiaoi, mkctisu. BOUN. CALLOWAY. To the wife of J Calloway, March 6th, 1892, a daughter. The Sham Every good thing ha9 its imitators, every genuine article its counterfeits. The Ammonia and Alum Baking Powders sold over the counters are no more like Dr. Price's Cream Baking Powder, than the paste is like the real diamond, or a counterfeit is like ono of the old master's genuino paintings. When greedy and merciless manufacturers claim their adulterated and harmful baking powders are as good as Dr. Price's, they know they are not telling the truth. These people know they are destroying- tho stomachs and the com plexion of the consumers, and there are many grocers recom mending such powders over their counters knowing same to be injurious and worthless simply to make a large profit. Dr. Price, a concicntious physician, has spent a lifetime in perfecting and popularising his Cream Baking Powder, the only Pure Cream Tartar Powder now to be obtained. Multitudes of imitators all over the land have sprung up, not to imitate the purity of Price's Cream Baking Powder, but to see how, cheap they could make their counterfeits and , hoodwink the public. ? : , - : Some use Ammonia and others Alum, but all these shams cry in chorusj "Buy this, its just as good as Dr. Price's and .much cheaper..'-; . .-.. Price's Cream Baking Powder is the standard for purity and perfection the world over,' and is beyond comparison. Dr. Price stands for Pure Food an a foe to all gbaxns. fTWv . fSj Cm Li KssV Ml ll. The March number of Babyhood, the mothers' nursery guide, contains an article on "Getting the teeth first and second," by the medical editor, Dr L M Yale, which corrects certain misappre hensions as to the teething process and thr troubles which are popularly sup posed to occompaoy it. Similarly help ful medical articles are "The care of deli cate children," by Dr II D Chapin. and "Cuts and Scratches." by Dr FI Power. An alleged "sure cure" for diphtheria is also discussed by a competent medical writer.
