up," to "purify the Wood," to "giya

''afford an appetite," in siokness, or
when the system is slightly out of or
der, why may tbey not be taken at

The principles are the same, applicable
in the one case as certainty as in the
other. Disease is now regarded aa the
mere absence of health, or ease, and
not a monster to be slain, demand iog

mankind means to avoid the maladies
