profitable Tine of railroad can be built from
this city to- Yaquina Bay flian from any
other point on the Willamette river. A
railroad from this city via King's valley,
leaving Corvallis considerably to the left.

few days ago, from the East. Whether he
intends returning to Oregon agaih we are

John Circle, while shoeing a horse the
otlier day. received a kick on the arm from
the vicious animal, which caused him to
su-pend blacksmithing for the balance of
