- Hack Upset. - Last evening as V. B.
Cannon was driving his hack to the depot
of the O. & C. Railroad, ad while on
Lyon street, the team concluded to '-travel"
and travel it did with such rapidity that
when if came to the "turning off" point
Just before reaching the depot, the hack
wasupet, and Mr. Cannon, Henri Sayrs
and another party thrown out of the
vehicle regardless of, style or taste Mr.
Cannon was severely hurt, aim ic was
thought tor a time that he could not live,

and vehicle were so little injured that they
brought in a load of passengers from the
