losing her life in the following
shocking manner : She was doing
some work about the house that re
quired her to step upon a liox in the

projecting a large meat hook. Tlie

and threw her, and as she fell her
neck caught on the hook in the re
gion of the jugular vein, and inrlict

hook penetrated her neck, glancing

as she fell to the floor, and making
