Said way is granted to said railroad to the extent of two hun dred feet in width on each side of .said railroad where it may pass through the public domain, including all necessary ground for station-buildings, work -shops, depots, machine-shops, switch es, side-tracks, turn-tables, nnd ' water-stations ; Provided, That witbin three - months from the passage of this act the said Utah Central Rail road Company shall filo with the Secretary of the Interior a map to be approved by him, exhibit- -ing the line of the railroad ot said company, as the same has been located and constructed ; Pro cided further, Tbat said company for like trans portation and telegraphic service. And it shall be the duly of the Utah Ceutral Railroad Compa ny to pjrmit any other railroad, which has been or shall be authorized to be built by the United States, or by the legislature of the Territory of Utah, to form runniug connections with its road on fair ai.d equitable terms. Ami 6e it further enacted, That tho United States make the granti herein, and that the said Utah Central Railroad Company accepts tbo same, upon the exprcll condition that the said company shall not exercise tbe power given by section ten of chapter sixteen of tbe laws of the Territory of Utah, approved February nineteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-nine ; and upon the furtherexpress condition that if the laid company make any breach of the conditions hereof, then in such case, at any time hereafter, the United States, by its Congress, may do any and all acts s&4 wbloh may be needful aad - HWtWMy for the enforcement of such conditions. And be it further enacted, That said Utah Central Railroad shall te a post route and a military road, subject to tho use of tbe United States for postal, military, naval, and all other Government servico, and also subject to such regulations as Congress may impose, restricting tbe charges for such Government transportation. And be it further enacted, Thst the acceptance of the terms, conditions, and imposi tions of this act, by tho said Utah Central Rail road Company, shall be signified in writing nnder the corporate seal of said company, duly exceaU d pursuant to the direction of its board of direc tors first bad and obtained, which acceptance sball be made within three months after the pas sage of this net, and shall be served on the Presi dent of the United States ; and if such acceptance and service shall not be so made, this grant, shall be void.
