tend any place of worship for the purpose
cf mocking its ceremonies, and behaving
io a manner that would disgrace a Dig
ger Indian. We hope never to hear of
such conduct again, in Linn . county at
least.

Rev. II. C. Jenkens will preach hie fare
well sermons. Mr. Jenkins has labored
faithfully in the Methodist ministry in
this city during the past two yeare,'and

right course, has been an ornament to
the church. He is a good man and de
serves well of his people.
