tom orrow ( F rid a y ), th e 150th a n n i­
versary of th e signing.
The U. S. constitution has served
as a guide and has set out th e u n d e r­
lying principles by w hich this g o v ern ­
m ent has so successfully c a rrie d on
th ro u g h these y ears. It is th e s a fe ­
g u a rd for our d em ocratic principles
and its value has been clearly d em o n ­
s tra te d over the years. May the tim e
never come w hen dem agogues an d
o p p o rtu n ists by su b te rfu g e o r a n y
o th er m eans have th e o p p o rtu n ity of
m aking rad ical ch an g es in the form of
governm ent as set dow n in this in­
stru m en t of liberty. C hanges in this
docum ent should only be m ade bv. a
vote of the people.
It is one of th e g re a te s t docum ents
of all tim e and all patrio tic A m ericans
