F riday the Blue and W hite will
meet th eir old rivals from t h e
coast. Tillam ook, one of the stro n g ­
est team s of the district. The game
will be played here in th e a fte r­
noon.
The “C heescm akers'' have d e ­
veloped an exceptionally fast back-
field which prom ises a lot of trouble
for the Blue and W hite. Both lines,
how ever, are about equal.
However, as in th e past, th e
b a ttle n ever runs according to
com parative s c o r e s .
W henever
the team s have met before, a b a t­
tle royal has ensued. This year's
B lue and W hite team has th e pop­
u larity of playing th e best gam e
against the stiffest opposition. The

athletic league to include football,
basketball and track, it was a n ­
nounced this week by B M Good­
man. high school coach. The league
probably will function this y ear on
basketball and track.
Several m onths of planning by

arrangem ent. 11 team s of nearly
equal caliber will be able to p re ­
sent a first class athletic program
to the fans nine m onths out of th e
