cow o f 451 pounds o f fat, a feed

o f b u tte rfa t o f 30fi pounds per
cow, a feed cost o f $83 and a re ­
tu rn above feed cost o f $41.75 The
high cow produced 670 pounds of
b u tte rfa t and there was a to ta l of
10 cows th a t had an average an ­
nual pro d u ctio n above 575 pounds
of fat. T here w ere 11 herds that
had an a v e n g e p ro d u ctio n per
cow fo r the herd o f 300 pounds of
fat o r m ore per year.
