Interesting
An experience th at should make peo
ple sit up and take notice has been re-
ported to the Argus. A woman w anted to
send a post card of Oregon scenery to a
friend in Michigan, but a call at local
stores was in vain. Oregonians, living in
the garden spot of the world, are too
prone to take things for granted. Let us
take on more of an aggressive spirit and
really tell the world about the wonders
of Oregon. This is the second time the
attention of the Argus has been called to
this condition.
Milk control board is considering an
increase of milk prices to the consum er in
Portland of one cent a quart. The addi-
tional money is to go to the dairym en of
the m ilkshed, who have been furnishing
Portland with quality milk at less than
cost. Their price has been increasing and
we sincerely hope and trust th a t the milk
board will grant th e request.
