The board now includes Mr. Deck, Mrs. Wells, H. C. Hill, Mr. Peters and Mr. McPheeters. The retiring di­ rectors are E. J. McAlear and G. V. Payne. The annual report of Harry Mor­ gan, district clerk, was read at the annual meeting, presided over by E. J. McAlear in the absence of Mrs. Wells, and the district was shown to be out of debt with the exception of street improvements. The total amount received was $49,039.67, and the expenditures amounted to $49,037.30. The total cost of operation, including trans­ portation, was $41,603.16. The as­ sessed valuation of the district is $2,291,451.90 and the properties owned by the district are valued at $130,000. Harry Morgan was re-elected dis­ trict clerk.
