Ten dollars was voted toward the Doernbecker Endowment fund. Mil­ ton Johnson, age 11, officially start­ ed this fund by giving one dollar of the five dollars earned in the garden contest, held last summer. Money subscribed will be left in an endow­ ment fund treasury here, for thirty days, so that anyone that wishes to contribute to this may do so within this time. Five dollars was voted toward the Girl Reserve fund. The Girl Reserves are repairing many old toys which will be put on the contemplated Community Christ­ mas tree. Mrs. C. E. C. Gifford, is working earnestly on the Red Cross drive. Nearly all of the business houses have been visited and the members report nearly every one has responded heartily.
