ED. WANN
Edgar D. Wann. of Wheeler, died
Feb. 17. 1920. from an attack of
pneumonia. He was well known
in Ilillsboro, where he resided for
many years. Me was born in Bu
reau Junction. 111., July 20. 1 S 7 .
and came to Oregon with his par
cuts in 1S77, living first near
Reedville. Later he moved to
Ilillsboro. and this county was his
home until he moved to Wheeler
in 10 14- Me was married to Miss
Mabel Mullen in 1901. Me is sur
vived by the wife and a son.

Mr. ami Mrs. Geo. Wailn. of
South Ilillsboro; hi-, twin sister.
Mrs. F.dith Morris, Portland, anil
brothers. Ralph. Thomas and
Charles, and a sister, Mrs. W. C.
Clifford, the latter of lieaverton.
The funeral takes place Friday
at the Donelson Sc Hell Parlors,
at 1 :H0. and interment will be in
the local cemetery.
Wann was a universal favorite
and his good nature and reliabil
ity made him many friends.

WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Farnham cele
brated their 30th wedding anni
versary Feb. 13. at their home
north of Ilillsboro. The dining
room waw beautifully decorated
with carnations. The wedding
cake carried a big wedding bell
of pink and white roses and 30
candles. A sumptuous dinner was
served. Those present from
abroad were Hugh 1'arnham. O.
A. C; Mrs. Mora I.etsen. Mr. Let
sen. Chas. Bayot. Miss I.illie Bay
ot, Jacqueline Bayot, Mrs. I.illie
Miller, of Portland, the party
coming Saturday and remaining
over until Sunday evening. The
presents were many and beauti
ful, among them being a gold
wrist watch to Mrs. Farnham,
presented by Mr. and Mrs. C. M,
I.etsen. The party departed
wishing Mr, and Mrs.. Farnham
many returns of their anniversary
day.

when their daughter, Caroline,
became the bride of John W.

ceremony. The wedding march
was played by Miss Thekla
Scheldt. Miss Anne Schneider
was bridesmaid ami Edward Gut
schmidt attended the groom. The
bride was charmingly gowned in
white satin and carried a bouquet
of w hite carnations ami fern. The
bridesmaid wore pink silk ami
carried pink carnations.
After the ceremony, a bounte
ous dinner was served, and the
evening was pleasantly spent in
music and singing.
The happy young couple ill
make their home in Portland.
