Last Friday a queer procession
wended its way around the cam
pus. Two cowled figures were
pushing a wheelbarrow in which
stood a white robed figure hold
ing a set of scales in one hand
and a bayonet in the other. Two
other cowled figures, one of whom
was Russell Morgan, walked in
front of the wheelbarrow. The
crier of the procession kept yell
ing: "Last Chance to get Justice
Over the Bar."
The procession was composed
of neophytes of the Delia Theta
Pi law fraternity, who were doing
this stunt as part of their initia
tion. The spectators had a lot of
fun viewing this procession, but
the neophytes looked as foolish
as young boys wearing their first
pair of long trousers. At that
Russell seemed to have a lot of
fun out of it
In the evening he was given the
regular initiation by the fraterni
ty. Morgan told the writer that
it was the heaviest initiation that
he ever received. lie is now
sporting his fraternity pin.
