ISSUKI) KVKRY THURSDAY Long -bt-MoHiNNKi Did Judge Hook get the hook or did he Ret hooked? President Wilson can now take up the suffragette picket affair and the German situation, the strike being in the discard. The Supreme Court Monday decided the Adamson law was and is constitutional. This set tles the great railroad hour and wage controversy. The railway owners must have had a tip Sat urday night thai the Court had decreed the law valid, for they sent word they would accept the Adamson law as the basis of set tlement. They then had the big press tell us that they di this through patriotism. Sure, Patriotism after Judge Hook was given the hook! Just for specu lation Judge tiugnes said on the stump that the law was not constitutional. Suppose he had been on the bench instead Brandies the Adamson law would have received its conge and this supposition would leav the big question still up in the air.
