pear and answer the complaint filed
against you in the above entitled
suit on or before Monday, the 14th
day of August, 1916, and if yon fail
to so appear and answer for want
thereof the plaintiffs will apply to
the above entitled court for the re
lief prayed for in said complaint, to-
wit:
For a judgment and decree against
said defendants that there is due,
owing and payable to plaintiffs the
sum of S4.175.54 in U. S. Gold Com,
with interest thereon in like Gold
Coin at the rate of 6 per cent per
annum from the 11th day of April
1916, and the further sum of $6,250.-
00 in U, S. Gold Com, with interest
thereon in like Gold Coin at the rate
of 6 per cent per annum from the
15th day of May. 1914, and tho fur
ther gum of $30,000.00 in U. S. Gold
Coin, with interest thereon in like
Gold Coin at the rate of 6 per cent
per annum from the 28th day of
February, 1914, and the further sum
ef $556.53, with interest thereon at
the rate of 10 per cent per annum
from the 27th day of April, 1916,
md the further sum of $4,000.00, at
torney's fees, and the costs and dis
bursements of this suit, and that the
mortgage of plaintiffs, described m
