out from Clackamas, Sunday.
F. C. Orth. of Forest Grove,
was in town Saturday. He says
that the milk supply is holding
up line this summer for the two
condensers.
John Connell is developing in
to quite a fisherman these days,
lie is said to have caught the
limit up above Mountaindale,
the other day, besides keeping
out of the creek.
Mr. and Mrs. W. II. Morton
visited at Mt. Hood the last of!

Monday. Mr. Morton will remain
there, the guest of his son, for

Forest Grove's sewer work is
progressing fairly well, and the
town is torn up from boundary
to boundary. Pacific Avenue is

John Lord, aged 77 years, died
at his home, two and one half
miles east of ilillsboro. near
Dunzer, July 18. 1!)10, after an
illness of several months. He
was born in England, Jan. 12,
1836, and when a young man
came to Canada, where he re
sided a short time. From there
he went to Mexico and lived
theie until about twenty years
ago, when he moved near Green
ville, Three sons survive: .1.

.John and James Lord, of this
place.
