John, the seven-year-old son of
Hrimo Santaro, of two milea
south of Iteedville, ran under a
loaded wood wagon driven by
Ray Gary, Tuesday, and the lad
lived but a few minutes after
the rear wheela had manned the

herding towa atony: the highway,
and playinjr hall to pasa away
the time. Mr. Gary drove along
the highway with the load of
wood, when the elder lad ran un
derneath the wagon, before and
aft trucks. John tried the name
feat, only to atumble and be
caught by the heavy wheela of
the rear truck.
Coroner Harrett went to the
scene of the tragedy, but held no
inquest, it being deemed not
necessary.
The parents are grief stricken
over the affair.
'Mr. Ga v is a careful driver.
