Gaston. Supt Easter identified
much of the copper and brass.
When they sold the stuff to a
second-hand man they claimed
tht-y had bought it from farmers
near Buxton. Sheriff Keeves
was not satisfied and ut)on call
ing Easter by phone learned that
there had been a robberv. and
the arrest followed.
