has business interests. He says
that Ctas. Shattuck is still hold
ing down the supenntendency of
the plant up there.
M. H. Stevenson, of the Wilkes
Abstract Co., returned Saturday
night from his trip to New York,
being called to the bedside of his

son, who wandered away from
his home near Beaverton, one
n'ght last week, and remained in
the woods over night The lit
tle lad was found the next day,
about 3 o'clock, and he was cry
ing, as well as about as hungry
as a laddie could be. It was at
first feared that the young chap
might develop pneumonia, but
the Beaverton physician took
him in charge and he is all right
now.
