year -will eclipse all previous
undertakings. The ladies of the
Circle have been earnestly work
ing for some time, and as a re
sult have for sale many beauti

work, suitable for gifts for old

Thirty road districts met last another for aprons to be used on
Saturday and voted for or against I every occasion, towels and pillow
special road levies and out ot the
thirty there were but five which
failed to vote a tax. In many
cases the majority for tax was
large, and where the tax was
beaten, it was a close margin.
The amount voted, aside from
the corporation tax amounts to
S57.7C3.48. and permanent road
work to over $60,000.
