The IVent-TcacI.er Asstnria
tion meeting was held at the
High School Monday evening, at
7:30. Nov. 8. A splendid pro
gram was given, of which the
addresses by J. W. Palmer and
Dr. Kobb were the main fea
tures. Alter the addresses a
spirited discussion, participated
in by a numlier of those present,
followed, the subject being "the
habit of smoking by the youth."
In this it was brought out that
the prevalence of smoking
among the bovs indicated that
the law relating to the sale of
tobacco was being violated by
some of the dealers, and that a
stricter en forrement of the law
was needed. These meetings
should be attended by all those
having the interest of the com
munity at heart.
