Tualatin Plains, was in Hillsboro
Tuesday. She was celebrating
her &th birthday. Mrs. Krug
hss brought 16 children into the
world. 15 ot whom are living.
She says that when she had I
family of little ones the was al
ways able to do her work and
attend church every Sunday.

Lloyd Commons, who has been
in St Vincents Hospital, Fort
land, since the first of the year,
with a broken leg. spent the
week-end with his brother-in-law.

was accompanied by Mr. Patter
son. who has been in the hoapita

J. C. Jones, of Metzger. Ore,
district manager for the Salem
District, Woodmen of the World
is in the city this week. Mon
day evening Mr. Jones addressed
the Woodmen in the Moose Hall
and he will for a short time make
a campaign for membership.
