January, is one of the largest
one-room schools in the county.
Miss Estella Guerber. the teach
er, has a well-trained company
of forty-five boys and girls who
are out to win. manual train
ing is given a place on the pro-
eram on Friday afternoons.
Substantial play apparatus placed
on the school ground is the work
of the boys." The girls take up
some of the domestic work that
has an important place in home-
making. Fred Rufener, Peter
Grosses and John Nussbaum are
directors, and Alfred Guerber is
clerk.
