Receipts for the week have been
cattle. 9o6; calves. 25; hogs.
2S85: sheep. 4496.
A fair run in the cattle division
the first ot the werk. Some good
pulp fed steers so!d at 7 80. The
market can be considered steady
although the prices were a little
better than paid a week ago.
tlood cows sell at 6 6; bulls at 6.
and calves at S 50.
Theiewasa light run in the
hog division this week. Prices
have jumped from 6 90 to 7 15
in the last few days. Many pigs
and heavy hogs are still coming
in. Tops are quoted at 7 15 at
close of the week.
Sheep house transactions were
made quickly. The demand for
mutton being so good that buyers
bid 7 50 for wethers and 6 50 for
ewes. Lamb market steady at
3 50. There has been quite
number of sheep coming in this
week.
