wound, which Dr. Erwin sewed.
Ernest Gunther, of near Lau
rel, was injured in one of his

the backfiring of a gasoline en
gine. Dr. Erwin attended the
optic and hopes to save the
vision.
The Commercial Club will have
its big Christmas tree at the
Crescent this evening, and there
is promise of a big house. A
fine program has been arranged,
and the school children will take
prominent part in the exercises.
