The Oregon Electric will lay
new ties oa the Garden Home to
Forest Grove branch, this Sum
mer, and the Hillsboro mill is
cutting on the contract Leon
ard Tompkins secured a contract
for over ten thousand of the ties
and he has several mills working
on the orders. It has been but
six years since the Electric laid
the timbers, and this appears
rather quick for . replacement
The road, however, will preserve
the ties they will now lay, and
put the track in shape for a fast
Bchedule. . .
