Anna Delude, of Portland, has
filed suit in circuit court, here,
asking for a divorce from her
husband. Nelson Delude. They
were married at Orepon City, in
November, 1912, and the wife,
from her complaint, evidently
thinks she was "deluded." She
asks for title to property which
she claims belonged to her at
marriage.
Easter Sunday witnessed the
usual big church crowd, although
the weather was rather incle
ment. The morning opened rath
er fair, but by noon old Jupe
Pluvius was busy with his water
supply. If the old saying of
seven wet Sundays hotds good it
will be a dampener on the na
tional game of baseball.
Personality in a candidate al
ways counts, as well as ability.
It is extremely hard to find a re
publican who is not going to vote
for Tom McBride for the judge
ship nomination, here in this
county, and it is also hard to
find a democrat who will acknowl
edge that he is going to vote
against the veteran jurist this
Fall, at the general election.
May 1. the County Clerk will
close the registration books, and
all wishing to vote in the primary
must have registered by that
time. The primary takes place
May 15. After the primary there
will be 172 days for the candi
dates to get acquainted with the
voters.

The Portland, Eugene & East

travel locally, these days, not
withstanding the Electric has cut
its time into Portland. Central
location both here and at Port

the change.
The court yard fs now covered
with its annual blue-and-gold,
and presents a beautiful appear
ance. A Umatilla squaw would
have fine doings on the turf,
digging camas, for one of the
blooms is from that plant
The Oregon beauty, the dog
wood, is in full bloom in Oregon
forests, now, and a trip to the
"green forest" affords the eye a
surfeit of white.
Mrs. Edythe Tozier-Weather-red,

his Spring work completed.
Fred Haase, of South Tualatin,
