not possible the milk cans should
he set in cohl water and the milk
stirred several times so as to in-

cans will become cool while the
interior will remain warm.
The results of lack of cooling
were very noticeable in many of
the cans ot milk delivered while
the inspectors were present A
number of cans of milk also
showed plain evidence of having
had water added. Such prac
tices on the part of the dairymen
result in financial loss to him and
in addition excises him to the
dangers that usually follpw con
tinued violation of the law.
Washington County is the ban
ner dairy county of the State
ami it should be the pride of
every one of its citizens to see
that her record be unmarred by
any act that will lower the
standard of her product or arouse
suspicion on the part of the pur
chaser or consumer."
