Guyton. of South Tualatin, died at the Mt. TaUir Hospital, Feb. 7, after an illnesa of several months. She was born in Jefferson County, Iowa, May 22. 1851. She was wedded to Mr. Guyton, at Ellensburg, Wash., in 1906. The funeral was held from the Hillsboro M. E. Church, Monday, interment being in the local cemetery. Her husband and the following children survive: Roy Rapplyea, Portland, and Mrs. Geo. Sleeper, of South Tualatin. Mr. Guyton conveyed the de parted wife to Washington last year, in hopes of bettering her health, but to no avail. Mrs. James Garson. of Portland: Mrs. lUlen McEwan. Portland, and Mr. Eliza Burlison, of War burton. Australia. The late Mrs. John Milne was a sister also. The floral tribute-; were the finest ever witnessed in the city at obsequies, and the emblems from the Portland Elks, the Portland Medical Brotherhood, Masons, K. of P., Star. Pythian Sisters. High School, the G. A. It, and from many other orders and societies, were beautiful. The remains were laid to rest in the North Tualatin Plains Presbyterian cemetery. Since the funerals of the late Congressman T. M. Tongue and John W. Sewell there has been no greater outpouring of people at the last rites of a Hillsboro man and citizen. All business houses were closed during the services at the church. Medical men from all over the state gathered to pay a final to ken of respect. Twenty-seven Portland physicians were in the number. They came by a spec ial car on the Oregon Electric and included Drs. E. 15. McDan iels. M. G. McCorkle. 0. Jeffer son. A. W. Raird, E. DeWitt Connell, A. 15. Bailey, Frank McCauly. J'. J. Panton. R.
