G. E. Gibbons lost a horse,
yesterday, near Moirat station,
by an acciddnt as unusual as
peculiar. He was driving along
the road, when a blast was
touched off by a Mr, Curtis, who
is the father-in-law of the nk'ht
man at the sub-station. The
debris went into the air, and a
huge root fell ami struck the
horse in the head, killing him
almost instantly. Gibbons feeds
the loss of the horse but feels
that the driver was fortunate to
escape.
Suit by a stockholder has been
brought against the Unilc.l

appointed to wind up its all'airs.
