We often hear the ipiestion.
"how are your hens lavm;'."
Many do not keep account, and
therefore are at a loss to know if
their investment is paying, or
whether or not their iWk is l
inR as well as it sliould. Ihurv-
men have found it litter to
watch their output, and poultry,
men should do the ?ame. If
farmers and (.x'uJtrymen would
put up a card at their yard,
marking it with lines, with d ites
over them, they could put down
each day's laying, or for that
matter, use a calendar, they
would soon know just what the
output is. Cash up at the end
of the month, and make your
division, and you will know jmt
where you are. ion will then
know just how many dozens you
are irettintf. and as you know the
market price, you will M your
jrross income. Put this in your
hook, Biibstract the money ymi
have spent for supplies, and yo 1
have your uross earnings. Mv
