(Contributed)
A very pleasant surprise was
tendered Mrs. Arthur Milten

event was also a house-warminjr,
Mr. and Mrs. Miltenberger hav
ing just moved into the Baugh

ning was spent in dancing and
cards, and an orchestra consist
ing of Will Jack, Earl Donelson -who
still know how t "rasp the

and Art Miltenberger, who
jingled the guitar strinsrs, fur
. nished the music. Afterdancing

with all kinds of delicacies, with
coffee and Angora as quenchers.
Those participating in the sur-

Last Friday night the C. I. C's
of the Evangelical Church were
banqueted through the hospitali
tj of the Delta Alpha class. The
affair went beyond any thing at
tempted along that line in the
school. There has been a spirit
of helpful nva'ry between these
two classes for some time and
the ladies determined to show
the young men a royal time.
They selected Mr. Ray Taylor's
place for the affair and this
proved an excellent place as the
two large rooms were thrown to
gether and one large table ex
tended through these two rooms,
besides Mr. and Mrs. Taylor
make an excellent host and
hostess. The rooms and table
were beautifully decorated. On
ly the memoers of the two
classes were present, but it made
a lively group of young peoule.
as they gathered at the home of
Mr. Jones. Here they were en
tertained by Mr. Staulfer and
Schafter, with instrumental mus
ic, until all things were ready in
the banqueting hall; then each
one Becured his partner, and
twelve couple marched to the
table. The president of the
Delta Alpha class served as, toast
mistress. All enjoyed: the sump
tious menu and the leasts served
as tonic, so Jthat none felt the
worse fot'thenateness of the
hottr.irhen ? they adjourned
ThACt I. C's only have words of
praise, and are determined to

homing to get another such
treat
