$?hen You Pay What A Thinrf Is Worth
You Get The Worth Of Your Money
This is the experience of many Buick Owners in
Washington County.
A good buy means more than getting something at a
cheap price. After all it's nothing more than getting
your money's worth.

Quality means cost, but every bxly knows
the better the quality the greater the
durability, and it is durability that finally
decides the net cost of a purchase.
We have experts continually on guard iu
onr shops to see that you get your mon
ey's worth. They inspect every nu
every screw, every single part that goes
into Buick manufacture. If the quality
is off grade, they scrap it. If the woik
manship is off a hair's breadth, they
scrap it. It costs us thousands of dollars
a year in salaries alone, to say nothing
of the loss represented in material dis
carded. That's the money we spend for
the Buick 0. K.
TheJamous Buick overhead yalve motor
is guaranteed to have more power and
more speed than any other type of motor
on the market. It will pull stronger on
low grade gasoline than any other type
of motor ever built and the fuel con
sumption is less.

That the skeleton of the remains
of Percy Ja.juith. son of Mr. and
Mrs. W. W. Januith. of Seholts,
were found Sunday by Mrs.
Ihos. Haines and two children,
while in the forest near their
home, is confirmed to a certain
ty. The skull had been per
fotated by a bullet, the ball en
tering above the rijiht temple,
and passing clear through the
head. A 38-calibro Colts Police
Special revolver, with empty
shells, was found laying by the
ghastly find. Three shells had
been fired; one chamber was
empty, and two loaded cartridges
remained in the weapon. Posi
tive identification was furnished
by the revolver number, which
was li,l,0. This number was
found in the young man's diary.
It will be remembered that Ja.
quith left home on the evening
of July lb. 1911. and upon his not
returning, a search nartv wax
inaugurated. His clothing, shoes
and bicycle were found on the
banks of the Tualatin, above th
broner & Kowell mill, and after
repeated trials to recover the
body, with Hugh Brady, the
Portland diver directing opera
tions, the search was abandoned.
His revolver was missed, and for
a long time it was not believed
that he was dead.
The absense of a wisdom tooth
was another proof of identity,
this tooth having been pulled by
Dr. Davis, of New berg.
Coroner Barrett went to the
scene of the find, Sunday after
noon, and found that, the bones
of the skeleton had been scatter
ed over a radius ol several rods.
A sateen shirt and pair of over
alls were several rods from the
skull. That he had such clothing
is well known. The place where
tne skeleton was found was about
one and one-half miles on an air
line from the place where his
clothing and bicycle were found
nearly two years ago.
reiffhbors close to that point
say they heard two shots fired
late in the night, but those evi
dently were not the shots that
ended life, as the distance from
the place of death would have
been too remote to have heard a
pistol shot
Dr. Pitteneer had also wnrlcod
on Jaquith's teeth, and some of
his record compares with the
fillings, of which there were
three kinds. SO Id. cement anH

Young Jaquith was a boy of
good habits, and had spent one
year at 0. A. C. He was studi
