there can only be a fine little

can be rocked and made decent
for the Winter, no one will com

Father Berrett, of the Hedemp
tionists, a well known and able
speaker, will open a mission at
Koy, at the Catholic Church,
Sunday, Nov. 3, and will con
tinue throughout the week -for
Catholics and non-Catholics, with
special lectures, morning at 8:30
and evening at 8:00. There will
be special lectures for the non
Catholics on Nov. 11-12-13 t

Bruce Wolverton, well known
to many in Hillsboro, is one of
the presidential electors on the
Prohibition ticket. Mr. Wolver
ton states that he expects his
party to poll a big vote this year.
"Thelma" is coming to the
Peoples' Theatre next Monday
and Tuesday evenings a beauti
ful two-reel drama. If you have
read the book you will see it
and if you have not you should
see the reel, anyway.

burg, the Roosevelt progressive

and perhaps give Hawley a hard
