is of the broad, deep, heavy muscled type, with fine

In 191 1, Congo won at the State Fair, first, in the
American class "and second in the open class, defeating
a horse in this class, that had never been beaten be
fore, aud who was Grand Champion at the California
state fair the week before. Congo won the Silver Cup
at the A. Y. P. exposition in 1009, as the best Ameri
can bred Belgian, any age. His sire and dam were
both money winners at Uie same show. ;
Congo has a show-yard record and without a doubt will
make a record as a sire.

Monday and Tuesday at home at Scholls; Wednesday till 5
o'clock at the Mulloy barn at Laurel; Thursday and Friday,
till 3 o'clock at home; Friday evening and Saturday at Red
mond's barn, Hillsboro. No business on Sunday.
